Without donations from our guests, local community and concerned friends everywhere, we could not continue to maintain the house and provide comfortable rooms, meals and caring presence for our guests.

The Alderson Hospitality House has run completely off donations since it opened its doors in 1977. We encourage each guest to leave whatever amount they are able as a donation.  For some families the gas money to and from Alderson is all they can afford so they leave no donation at the house; others have stayed for one night and left $500.  We have had guests for whom finances were very tight during their loved one’s time at the camp, but 5 years after she was released things were better and they sent us a generous donation.

The Alderson Hospitality House is a non-profit organization so all money that is donated goes directly into the operational costs of the house.

In addition to cash donations, we are happy to accept in-kind donations as well.  Please check out our Wish List if you are interested in giving an in-kind donation.
